About the Artist: Thomas A. Brown is a popular California artist. His color-drenched landscapes have been described as Plein Air painting at its best, and his Impressionist style perfectly captures the magical light and beauty of the California landscape. His bold, confident brushwork vibrates with energy and strength.

Tom Brown's paintings have sold in top galleries nationwide for over 20 years - since his first one-man show in Chicago, which was a virtual sellout. His art has been published in Southwest Art, Art & Antiques, American Art Review and other leading art publications, and several popular CD-books on painting, richly illustrated with his work, have been produced. The artist is a former president of the prestigious Orange Art Association in Orange County, California, and past member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association and Southern California Plein Air Painters Association. He is the recipient of numerous awards in plein air painting competitions and his work can be found in numerous collections.
