Excellent. The original mat has a About the Etching:water mark in the lower right corner, well away from the print.
Painter in oil and About the Artist:water-colour of marines and architectural subjects. Born in London on 1st April 1862. Studied art at South Kensington, also in Cologne, Dusseldorf, Antwerp and Paris. Exhibited at the leading London galleries from 1881, mainly at the R.A., R.B.A. Principal works include Launch of a Battleship, Leaving the Thames and The Britannia.
