About the Paintings: Both in very good condition.
Blue on Blue - This painting is unsigned, but a previous
owner has written the artist's name and their
own name and address verso. There is no reason
to doubt or question the authenticity of
this painting. It was purchased from an English
dealer in 2006 with another painting by Greenwood
that was signed.
Over the years, I've bought many paintings
unframed, or in shabby frames. Usually, I've
been able to purchase these paintings at
prices low enough to justify the cost of
a new frame. This is one of those! I love
this painting, but given my large collection
there hasn't been a place for it on one of
our walls. So, I offer it to you for little
more than I paid - inclusive of shipping.
The title is mine, but I think fitting for
this little gem! An excellent British Modern
painting, by a respected painter.

he entered the etching and engraving school
of the Royal College under Malcolm Osborne

II Army service, 1941-6, included a time
on the staff of the School of Military Engineering
