Biogaphy: Alphonse Palumbo was a New York painter
of landscape-harbor, figure,
and animal subjects.
Born in Raito, Italy, he studied
at the Art
Students League and the National
Academy
of Design with E. Speicher, F.
L. Mora, and
DuMond. He was a member of the
Artists' Fellowship,
and exhibited at the Allied Artists
of America
and National Academy of Design.
