Biography: Chauncey F. Ryder is one of America's most preeminent artists of the early 20th century. He established his own unique style of post-impressionism and became wealthy selling his paintings and etching throughout the U.S. He was a painter, etcher, lithographer and illustrator who had studios in New Haven, CT, Chicago, New York City and Wilton, NH.
